Privacy Policy

Effective Date: January 2026

ScanLiftLog respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect and how it is handled.

1. What We Do Not Collect

ScanLiftLog does not require or request:

  • Names
  • Email addresses
  • Phone numbers
  • Payment information
  • Accounts or logins

We do not intentionally collect personally identifiable information (PII).

2. Local Data Storage

Workout data is stored locally on your device using browser storage. This means:

  • Your workout history stays on your device by default
  • We cannot see it, access it, or recover it for you
  • Clearing browser storage, reinstalling a browser, or changing devices may delete it

Exporting (Download) and importing (Upload) workout data are user-initiated actions performed on your device.

3. Anonymous Technical Data

We may collect minimal anonymous technical data for operational purposes, such as basic page loads, errors, and feature usage. This data is used to improve reliability and performance and is not intended to identify you.

4. QR Codes and External Links

QR codes may be created and deployed by third parties (e.g., gyms). We do not control how they are distributed or used. We are not responsible for QR codes not created by us, external websites, or third-party links.

5. Cookies

We do not use advertising cookies. If any cookies are used, they are strictly functional.

6. Children’s Privacy

ScanLiftLog is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

7. Data Security

Because most data is stored locally on your device, you are responsible for device security and backups.

8. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
